Yes, I now have a third blog in use, or two if you take into account the fact that my 360 blog is on hiatus while Yahoo decides whether or not to let its users know whether or not it plans to shut down the service. What's this one for?

While it may evolve into something completely different, at present I'm using it as a place to post asides while writing articles on my other blogs. Yes, I have a Googlegroup for that, but Googlegroups don't allow the installation of much in the way of code on their pages, and sometimes I have video or other media to embed, as I did in the case of the other two of the first three posts on this blog, hence the establishment of this little place.

Note added Jan.5, 2008: For reasons which will be discussed elsewhere, far from Lycos' server, I will not be doing any more blogging from this location. I have created a new blog at Livespaces called "Joseph Dunphy's Notebook", but that's a completely different blog, focused on Mathematics and its applications in Science and Engineering, not to be confused with or thought of as being a successor to this one.
